Greetings and congratulations to our very own Marshid Khan and Jafrin Rahman Nahin, final-year students of our Civil and Environmental Engineering, who have been crowned as first runner-up in the coveted SDG Policy Challenge 2023. The event was organized with the immense effort and partnership of the Swedish Embassy in Bangladesh, ICCCAD (International Center for Climate Change & Development) and Global Gatekeepers.
Their project was closely focused on utilizing clean energy and sustainable methods in solving various domestic problems and suggested ideas focused on the water crisis in Bangladesh and clean and sustainable energy usage in mitigating the water crisis faced in coastal regions. The name of the idea was “ Solar Power Desalination “
