Often the most fulfilling and helpful experiences that students gather happen outside of the classroom. Thus, moving forward while amassing valuable experiences IUTians have pursued knowledge in different places and triumphed. Adding to that list of success stories, our students have once again displayed breathtaking performances in India, also.
This year our students have shown their caliber in Megalith 2021 organized by the Department of Civil Engineering of Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur under the aegis of Civil Engineering Society. This is one of the biggest International civil engineering festivals, that challenges budding civil engineering students in skills required for the trade.
In the Green Canvas- Environmental Case Study segment, Team Oxymoron consisting of five undergraduate students namely Aditya Basunia, AzwadMuttaqi, Sadia Afrin Sama, AfiaNawar, and Asif Zaman Srizon, and Team Duo consisting of two Undergraduate students namely AtkiaIbnat and TanzilaZannatMahzabeen became the Champion and First runner-up respectively out of hundreds of teams from across the globe. Our students presented suitable systematic solutions keeping different cause-effect scenarios in mind to tackle Civil Engineering related issues in India.
And in the BEAT-D-EUCLID segment Chowdhury ZubayerBin Zahid and Md. Zawad Rafid took the Second and Third positions respectively out of hundreds of participants. This segment required our students to design with CAD software with utmost efficiency and efficacy.
A big round of applaud and appreciation to our students, who have worked hard in this pandemic to bring the prizes back home. It is our pride to harbor students whose footsteps will lead to future endeavors.
