Istiakur Rahman is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, of Islamic University of Technology (IUT), Bangladesh. He has completed his MSc from the Department of Civil Engineering, Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) and BSc from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Islamic University of Technology (IUT). His research interest is centered on Geotechnical Engineering especially on the numerical modelling of the geotechnical systems, soil improvement and machine learning in geotechnical engineering.
