Dr. Aziz Hasan Mahmood

Dr. Aziz is a dynamic, experienced and high performing researcher, academic, and engineer with expertise in sustainable construction materials with an excellent understanding of specifications and client requirements with a robust background in alkali-activated materials research, design, and development of mixes. He possesses abilities to apply the knowledge gathered in research towards ensuring compliance with specifications that are up to industry and organizational standards. He has a wide array of technical and management skills in materials testing, data analysis, quality assessment and monitoring, project planning & execution, and documentation & reporting. He also holds end-to-end project management competencies, from the design process to initial concept and final production. Aziz is a proactive leader, skilled in supervising research teams, delivering sustainable results, forging collaborative relationships, coordinating overall strategy and propelling the organization to higher peaks of success.
Specialization : Alkali-activated materials, alkali-aggregate reaction, material recycling, inorganic and organic composites, microstructural analysis.
