Dr. Shakil Mohammad Rifaat
Professor and Head of the Department
Dr. Shakil Mohammad Rifaat is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of Islamic University of Technology (IUT), Dhaka, Bangladesh. He completed Ph.D. from University of Calgary (U of C) and M.Sc. from National University of Singapore. Before joining IUT, he worked as a research assistant in the Department of Civil Engineering at the National University of Singapore (NUS) and the University of Calgary (U of C) as well as a full-time Lecturer, an Assistant and an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Asia Pacific (UAP) and Islamic University of Technology (IUT) in Bangladesh.
Specialization : Traffic Safety, Transportation Planning, Econometric Modelling, Transportation Data Analysis.
