Moinul Hossain, Ph.D.
Professor
Moinul Hossain's research interest lies in the fields of ITS - particularly big data analysis, application of AI and machine learning in Transportation Engineering; Public Transport; Security in Transportation Engineering; and Road Safety. His professional activities mainly deal with modeling transportation problems (macro, meso and microscopic traffic simulation). He is the pioneer in introducing the use of software tools in Transportation Planning in the undergraduate and graduate level civil engineering courses in Bangladesh. He has also done capacity building for various government and non-government organizations in Bangladesh in the field of Transportation Modeling.
