Biography

Mohammad Zobair Bashar is currently pursuing his PhD in Construction Engineering Management at the University of Colorado Boulder. He is working on a project on automated pavement condition assessment through satellite images and machine learning technologies. Prior to that, he obtained his Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (with a specialization in Transportation Engineering) from the Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He also worked as a lecturer in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Islamic University of Technology (IUT), Dhaka, Bangladesh for two years. Zobair received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from IUT in 2014. He was awarded IUT Gold Medal for academic excellence in his undergraduate studies.
